Have Only 10 Minutes? You Can Still Make a Gorgeous Card!
Today’s Monday Mini YouTube video (coming out on Wednesday because of a dental emergency) shows a great template to make a card when you don’t have a lot of time. I mean, we all have times when we are rushing out the door and realize we still need to make a card. This template will create a beautiful card every time! Check out the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBmurN2WU0A.

Can you see the shine on this paper? It is amazing! This paper is part of the August 2026 Product of the Month, the Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Paper. So if you are seeing this in August 2026, you are in luck – you can get this paper for just $5 with a product purchase of $75 or more! AND right now, from August 19 to August 21, 2026, earn double rewards! Plus during the month of August, many designer series paper, two-tone paper, and cardstock is 15% off! All those specials can be applied together.

I can’t stop making these fun and easy cards adaptable to any occassion.

Cut a card base as usual, cutting a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ in half horizontally and folding in half to create a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base. Cut the next layer to 4″ x 5 1/4″ (here, shown in Peaceful Pine). Cut the third layer to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ (here, shown in Golden Glow). To create the three strips of designer series paper, cut them to 1″ x 4 1/2″ long. When you cut the designer series paper, cut the strips from the designer series paper side by side and keep the strips in the same order in order to keep the scene intact. Glue the left strip on the left side of the third piece of paper (here, Golden Glow) using Tombow liquid glue to allow you to wiggle the pieces into place if necessary. Then glue the middle strip evenly between the left and right strips. Gluing the outsides stips on first allows you to easily space the three strips. Glue the Golden Glow piece onto the Peaceful Pine piece, and then glue onto the Basic Beige card base.

All that remains is the sentiment! Here I used a fantastic sentiment from the Fern and Flora stamp set, and cut it out with a die from the same bundle. I then adhered some twine on the card with a glue dot, roughly fashioning a bow. I adhered the sentiment on to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and finished it off some Antique Pearls. For the card made with the Silly Old Bear designer series paper, I cut out a scene of Pooh taking jam off the shelf using the dies from the same bundle.

This is a great template for a quick card that will wow the person who receives it. You can do it with any sort of paper or sentiment.
If you try the card, please let me know! Drop a comment and let me know what you try it with.
Happy Stampin’,
Donna
